Holme Lacy House, Hereford Herefordshire
Ornate ceilings, a sweeping staircase and stately drawing
rooms, the present Holme Lacy is mainly 18th century, a
period of great improvement, as you’ll see when you explore
beyond the glowing red sandstone of the house to the 20
acres of landscaped parkland.
Although neglected when Warner arrived, we made a priority
of its restoration – just as our first concern is now to
ensure an enjoyable stay for you. |

Nidd Hall, Nidd, Harrogate, North Yorkshire
We have done wonders to preserve Nidd Hall’s centuried and
essential character. Staircases sweep you past gorgeous
carvings and cornices; there’s an Orangery and the
tranquillity of the old Library. Yet it’s hard to believe
that the estate has virtually doubled in size since 1855. |
 |
Bodelwyddan Castle, Denbighshire, North Wales
The faces of the famous lend a fascinating air of
sophistication to Bodelwyddan’s every corner. For the former
family home today houses a ravishing collection of
19th-Century paintings courtesy of the National Portrait
Gallery. Outside, the beautifully-tended grounds include a
maze, an aviary and a tranquil woodland walk. |
 |
Cotswold Water Park Hotel
The accommodation at the Cotswold Water Park Hotel
is luxurious and offers all the home comforts you
would expect. All rooms are light and airy, and many
feature a view of the Hotel’s lake. The room design
takes its inspiration from elements of nature,
giving them a unique, elegant feel and relaxing
ambience. And it’s not just the rooms that are
luxurious.

Thoresby Hall Hotel & Spa, Nr Ollerton, Nottinghamshire
The interior of Thoresby Hall is a sheer delight. Entering
beneath the stunning central tower, a wide staircase takes
you to the Great Hall. Explore further and the adjoining
staterooms inspire just as much awe. The majestic Blue Room,
named for the restored silk damask wallpaper, not to mention
the Library, evocative of the era; with this sort of luxury
you can indulge yourself it’s all yours. |
 |
Littlecote House, Hungerford, Berkshire
At Littlecote, history is ever-present. Here we’ve hosted
Tudor monarchs, Civil War captains and Regency nobles, not
to mention the occasional friendly ghost. And the spirit of
the ages lives on with the Roman mosaic, the Great Hall and
the Cromwellian chapel. |
 |
Cricket St. Thomas, Chard, Somerset
You’ll find more at Cricket St. Thomas than the modest ‘14
cattle’ listed in the Domesday Book. For close to the Grade
II listed parklands, lakes and majestic trees is the Cricket
St. Thomas Wildlife Park with 500 rare and endangered
animals. In the hotel’s gardens, mature cedars, maples and
yews have been lovingly preserved, while new lawns and a
variety of shrub and woodland plantings have added still
more to the already beautiful Somerset surroundings. |
 |
Alvaston Hall, Middlewich Road, Nantwich
Feel free to make yourself at home with our comfortable
rooms. Choose from the Ambassador Room which is included in
the cost of your break or upgrade to a luxurious Royale
Room. |
 |
Sinah Warren, Hayling Island, Hampshire
Sinah Warren is a tranquil paradise of pines and flowers,
sea-birds and butterflies. You're as likely to spot a Red
Admiral from your sun-lounger as a salty sea dog out in the
bay. And we chose our location with the utmost care,
ensuring you can enjoy the finest possible views of stunning
Langstone harbour and every opportunity to relax and take in
the sweet, intoxicating sea air.

 |
Bembridge Coast, Bembridge, Isle of Wight
Though tranquillity is the byword at Bembridge, life was not
always so peaceful. During World War II, the southeast part
of the site was rented to the Admiralty as a land-based
warship. Nicknamed HMS Blazer, the structure billetted some
250 men and stored arms and mobile radar equipment. Not that
you’d know it today, as you lie back in the Isle of Wight
sun and enlist the kind of service and hospitality only a
Warner hotel can provide |
 |
Corton Resort, Nr. Lowestoft, Suffolk
Among Corton’s many unusual claims to fame is its links to
mustard. Towards the end of the 19th century, the head of
the Colman family acquired the estate, turning the already
beautiful setting into one of the loveliest gardens on the
east coast. As the Colman estate fragmented, pretty Corton
eventually passed into the hands of Warner Leisure Hotels,
who transformed it into the traditional friendly seaside
resort you see today. |
 |
Gunton Hall, Lowestoft, Suffolk
In 1765, it was discovered that the area’s fine clay was
ideal for porcelain manufacture. Lowestoft has famously
manufactured beautiful porcelain for many years. And while
there’s little evidence at Gunton today of the relevant
industrial workings, it’s worth remembering the resort’s
importance to the history of fine ceramics. |
 |
Norton Grange, Yarmouth, Isle of Wight
One of the real gems of your stay at Norton Grange is surely
the fabulous views of the western Solent, a busy and
colourful waterway which stretches from Cowes to the
Needles. As befits this walkers’ paradise, there’s also a
sea wall along which you can stroll to Fort Victoria; built
to defend England’s southern ports.
|
 |
Lakeside, Hayling Island, Hampshire
As you’re greeted by friendly staff and fellow guests alike,
it’s difficult to imagine any other resort matching
Lakeside’s sense of belonging. No surprise, then, that we’re
officially an Investor in People. Yet while community and
companionship are there if you want, it’s equally easy to
slip your moorings and be alone with your partner or your
friends, the mild breezes, the swans and sea-birds, the
glorious coastal views....or simply your thoughts. |
